Subscriptions and credit cards
Subscriptions
The Subscriptions section holds everything that comes back: streaming, phone, rent, insurance. Give it an amount, a period and a charge day.
Once a month the app asks which subscriptions have gone out and records them in one tap. Faster than entering each by hand, and more reliable than remembering.
Subscriptions you stopped noticing are the most common hole in a budget. The section shows the yearly cost of each: the monthly figure looks harmless, the yearly one rarely does.
Credit cards
The Cards section: credit limit, how much is used, the payment date. The app reminds you in advance and shows how much to pay to stay out of interest.
A credit card is an account with a negative balance rather than a separate species. Spending on it is recorded as ordinary expenses, and paying the card off is a transfer from another account.
