Installing on a phone, and updates
Installing
Caudal is a web app; no app store is involved.
- Android, Chrome: browser menu → Install app.
- iPhone, Safari: Share → Add to Home Screen.
Once installed it opens from an icon, full screen, with no address bar.
Offline
Screens you already opened keep working without a connection. New entries need one — money should be saved on the server, not only in a phone.
Updates
The app updates itself. If a screen has been open for a long time, coming back to it offers a reload; accept it, or an old version may disagree with a new server.
If something sticks
- Close the app and open it again.
- Pull the page down to reload.
- If that did not help, write to us from settings, the Support button. A screenshot or a screen recording makes it much faster to work out.
