Import and export

Export

Settings → Import and export. You can download:

• transactions — the full list as CSV;
• a pivot of categories by month — the table people usually keep in Excel.

The file opens in Excel, Google Sheets and Numbers.

Importing transactions

A CSV with columns for date, amount, category, account and note. Categories and accounts that do not exist yet are offered for creation.

Importing a pivot table

If you kept a budget as "categories down, months across", the whole sheet can be loaded: the app reads the month header and creates one transaction per cell.

Before importing

Check that the currency and the target account are right — correcting a hundred imported rows one at a time takes a while. Loading a single month first and looking at the result is the sensible order.

Your data is yours

Export is always available and never limited, including right before deleting your account. It is not a paid feature and will not become one.
