How the app is laid out

The home screen

At the top: how much money you have, and a forecast of how many days it lasts at your current rate. Below: your category tiles. Tapping a tile opens the keypad and records an expense in that category.

The home screen is configurable — settings let you switch blocks on and off (goals, debts, subscriptions, the monthly budget) and reorder them.

The bottom bar

Four tabs: Home, Transactions, Charts and More. More holds everything else — accounts, cards, goals, debts, subscriptions, the shopping list, the wishlist, loyalty cards, family, shared access, settings.

Search

The search button at the top searches the app's own sections and your transactions at the same time. If you cannot remember where something lives, searching is faster than scrolling through More.

Categories and subcategories

A category can have children: Car → Fuel, Car wash, Repairs. Children roll up into the parent, so reports stay readable.

Currencies

Each account has its own currency. The budget has one main currency that everything is converted into for reports. The rate is fetched automatically and stored at the moment a transaction is recorded, so past months are not rewritten when a rate moves.
